Edenstone reveals stunning park setting of new Exeter homes

July 18, 2025 | In the news

Drone footage showing a new 22-acre country park being created alongside new homes in Exeter has been released by the developer behind the scheme.

Homes at the just launched Willow Grange will enjoy a stunning setting with plans for a community, village green and children’s play areas, with more than 22 acres of land set to become part of the New Valley Country Park.

While those facilities will be available from next summer onwards, as work progresses on the site, Edenstone Homes has released site plans and drone footage to help buyers visualise what the new community will look like.

Edenstone operations director Chris Edge said: “Feedback from those who visited our sales centre at Willow Grange over the launch weekend is that they love the layout and scale of the development – we’re building just 93 homes here.  The amount of open space, including the New Valley Country Park was a big draw. We’ll be creating footpaths and installing seating before opening the park next summer but have already had people popping into the sales centre while out walking.

“In time there will also be a community orchard, allotments, a village green and play areas for residents to enjoy. These features can be seen on the site plan, available via our website or in the sales centre, where our experienced sales team can guide visitors through the plan for the new community and individual homes. We’ve also commissioned drone photography and videography to demonstrate the stunning setting and help buyers visualise their future lifestyle.”

Willow Grange is part of a joint venture between Edenstone and LiveWest, the largest housing association in the South West. Together they’re creating 93 new homes across circa 10 acres of a 32-acre site.

The first seven of Edenstone’s 61 private sale homes have just been released for sale “off plan” ahead of a show home opening in late summer/ autumn. Current availability includes two, three and four-bedroom homes, some backing onto mature woodland, with prices from £285,995. A number of homes will have potential for stunning panoramic views of the Exe Estuary and Dartmoor.

“Those who reserve a new home in the early stages of a development, before the property is physically built, will have plenty of opportunities to make design choices to personalise their home right from the start,” Chris added.

“They could even find they’re able to move this autumn.”

A package of community investment worth more than £1.5million linked to the new neighbourhood was agreed during the planning process to support a wide of local facilities including healthcare, schools and youth facilities, walking and cycling routes, plus bus routes. The Exeter F1 service will be extended to run through the new development, offering a sustainable transport options for residents.
