Your solution to moving to a new home in Devon
EVENTS are being held at two new homes developments in Devon to help homeowners speed up selling and buying.
Edenstone is hosting Part Exchange and Assisted Move events at Willow Grange in Exeter and The Orchards in Sampford Peverell on the weekend of January 24/25. Our teams of experts will be on hand at both locations to guide homeowners through the options available to streamline selling and buying.
Operations director Chris Edge said: “We’ve had an influx of enquiries post-Christmas from people keen to move to a new home in Devon but in many cases have a house to sell. Some haven’t yet listed their property for sale and don’t know where to start or perhaps have busy lives and don’t want to have find an agent and all the complexities of selling. We’re here to make things as simple and straightforward as possible by removing some of the things people might find stressful about buying and selling.
“Join us this weekend and our team of experts will explain how we can help. The simplest option for those moving up the housing ladder is part exchange. Effectively the customer trades in the property they’ve outgrown towards the cost of a new home. Alternatively, we can offer assisted move where we work with a trusted agent to sell the customer’s house and manage that sale on their behalf – we’ll even pay the agent’s fees*. This is a great solution for downsizers or those making a sideways move.”
At Willow Grange, less than two miles from Exeter’s vibrant city centre, Edenstone is building 61 private sale homes as part of a 93-home joint venture with LiveWest. Edenstone has a good choice of new homes in Exeter, with two, three and four-bedroom designs available. Current prices range from £275,995 for a two-bedroom semi-detached Ashmore up to £449,995 for a four-bedroom detached Stanton.
The Orchards is a 60-home award-winning sustainable development in Sampford Peverell, near Tiverton. The development includes a central village square and green, community gardens, an orchard and allotments. A children’s play area is due to open this Spring.
Current availability at The Orchards includes a choice of three, four and five-bedroom homes, with prices from £385,000 to £699,995. The development also includes three self-build plots of land, each benefiting from outline consent for a four-bedroom detached home to be built, available from £200,000.
Show homes at both locations are open Thursday to Monday from 10.30am to 5.00pm.
The Part Exchange and Assisted Move events take place from 11am to 4pm on January 24 and 25. Visitors are encouraged to make an appointment to receive friendly advice in a relaxed setting over refreshments.
