Our first phase of 36 homes was contracted with Pobl housing association as part of a 100-home consented site purchased from Linc-Cymru Housing Association following the resolution of a variety of legacy planning matters.
Works commenced on site in January 2021. With piled foundations and using a Category 2 MMC timber frame construction, the first phase was completed in April 2022.
Planning was subsequently amended for a further 2 phases of development to vary the housing mix to better satisfy local need for housing.
Following significant increases in worldwide timber costs and supply chain issues as a result of the conflict in Ukraine, we varied construction on subsequent phases to traditional masonry. We delivered the remaining homes in late 2023, as part of a wider contract with a private company to provide 200 homes for rent over a two-year period.
“They proved to be easy to work with, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally. The follow-up on defects was thorough, and the quality of the buildings was very high. Communication throughout the process was excellent, keeping us informed every step of the way.”
