Lord Mayor marks milestone at new community in Exeter

The official opening of a new show home marks the latest milestone for our new neighbourhood and country park in Exeter.

We have been making good progress at Willow Grange, working to deliver 93 new homes under a joint venture with LiveWest alongside more than 22 acres of the land destined to become part of the New Valley Country Park.

Edenstone invited Lord Mayor of Exeter Councillor Anne Jobson to cut the ribbon to officially open the sales centre and show home at the development.

Lord Mayor of Exeter Councillor Anne Jobson said: “It was a pleasure to open the new Edenstone development, Willow Grange. I was able to view the show home, with its emphasis on sustainability. I also heard about the partnership with Live West meaning there will be 32 much needed affordable homes. There is thoughtful design for green spaces, play areas and family areas together with the community orchard. I’m confident these homes will enhance the local environment and provide much-needed housing for a wide range of people.”

The show home is an example of the four-bedroom Mathern, set out over three floors. A traditional looking property with real kerb appeal, features include an attractive double storey bay-frontage.

Inside, a generous lounge is at the front, while to the rear there’s a spacious open-plan kitchen and dining area, plus utility and cloakroom. Three bedrooms and the family bathroom are on the first floor. The main bedroom and en-suite span the entire top floor, offering parents a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of family life.

Edenstone operations director Chris Edge said: “We’re grateful to the Lord Mayor for taking time to visit Willow Grange to learn about the new neighbourhood we’re creating with LiveWest. The show home opening is a real milestone and it was great to see so many people over the launch weekend including some who’ve already made plans for a repeat visit. Feedback is that visitors love the sociability of the open plan kitchen and dining room and the wow factor of the top floor main bedroom suite. The children’s bedrooms were a real talking point, particularly the room with Willow in LED lighting above the bed – we even had someone who’s daughter is called Willow visit.”

Current availability at Willow Grange includes two, three and four-bedroom homes, with prices from £285,995.
