Make a new home in Morriston your natural habitat

A jungle inspired children’s bedroom has proven a roaring success with young visitors to Parc Ceirw Garden Village in Morriston.

The interior design team has gone WILD with the styling of the new show home at the popular community-led development. They’ve embraced the biophilic trend with striking patterns of flowers and leaves throughout the four-bedroom detached Monmouth style property.

The result is a home that visitors of all ages can imagine themselves living in.

Edenstone Group sales director Adele McCoy said: “Styled in neutral tones with lots of oversized floral and fauna feature wallpapers and plants to add colour, the Monmouth show home exudes a sense of calm. We’ve also had some fun in styling a twin children’s bedroom with a jungle theme. The feature wallpaper in this room has a vine pattern, complete with giraffes grazing. We’ve added leopard print runners to the beds, along with animal cushions and lots of soft toys. There are even animals hanging from the light fittings and a tiger on top of the wardrobe. It’s really captured the imaginations of children who’ve visited.”

The Monmouth is a generously proportioned, double fronted property designed for modern living. There’s a lounge at the front, with a dedicated study on the opposite side of the hallway.

A spacious open plan kitchen, dining and family room, overlooks the garden, which in turn backs onto Morriston Golf Club. A utility room and downstairs cloakroom complete the ground floor.

“The kitchen is very much the heart of this home and our styling reflects this,” Adele added. “There’s a large corner sofa, dining table with seating for six, with statement black furniture including coffee table, shelving units and sideboard. It’s where families will gather, whereas the separate lounge has a more formal feel to it and is perhaps where parents will retreat to once the children are in bed.”

Upstairs the main bedroom benefits a dressing room and en-suite, with the large family bathroom serving the remaining three bedrooms. There are open views from this level to the golf course’s fifth hole.

A four-bedroom detached Monmouth, like the new show home, is available from £495,000.

Parc Ceirw Garden Village will eventually comprise 300 new homes, including designs from Edenstone’s two housing brands Edenstone Homes and Bluebell Homes. Current prices start from £225,000 for a two-bedroom semi-detached Ashmore on the Bluebell phase.

All new build homes priced under £300,000 are eligible to be purchased using Help to Buy – Wales.

Along with new homes, Parc Ceirw Garden Village will also feature a host of facilities to enable residents to enjoy a healthier way of living including an equipped, circular outdoor fitness trail and a gym within a community hub. The sales office and show homes at Parc Ceirw Garden Village are open daily from 10.30am to 5pm.
