SAVINGS worth up to £10,000 and the opportunity to move for “free” are being offered to homebuyers in Ross-on-Wye.
The final phase of new Edenstone homes at St Mary’s Garden Village is now on sale and a small number of the properties are build complete and ready to be occupied.
This limited time offer is available on selected plots only, subject to terms and conditions, for those looking to purchase before May.
Edenstone operations director Chris Edge said: “We want to give people who’ve decided to make 2025 the year they buy a new home a helping hand by covering some of the costs associated with moving. We’ll pay the stamp duty and contribute to the agent’s fees, essentially enabling people to move for free. Plus, selected new homes include extras such as flooring, turfed rear garden. The incentive has the potential to save buyers up to £10,000.
“Alternatively, those with a house to sell could use part exchange to climb the housing ladder quickly and simply. With stamp duty rates changing from April and limited availability at St Mary’s Garden Village, we’d encourage anyone looking for a new home in Ross-on-Wye to contact us without delay.”
Despite the limited availability, there’s still plenty of choice of new homes at St Mary’s Garden Village with six house types to select from. Three-bedroom homes are available from £275,000, with four-bedroom properties priced from £350,000.
According to research from the Home Builders Federation, new houses are 65% more efficient than older ones, with the potential to save almost £2,000 a year.
There’s potential for further savings as some of the properties at St Mary’s Garden Village offer enhanced energy efficiency thanks to additional roof and floor insultation, plus solar panels.
The new homes are set amid an abundance of open space including allotments, a kick about area; formal garden and play area, walking and fitness trails with equipment. A viewing platform overlooks the pond with a direct view to St Mary’s Church.
There’s also a net-zero community hub, designed to generate more renewable energy than it consumes, is available for residents’ use and includes a kitchen, utility, gym, three toilets, and open space for various groups to utilise.
The show homes and sales centre at St Mary’s Garden Village are open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5.30pm. Buyers interested in the move for “free” incentives should speak to the sales team for details.
