Off plan launch of highly anticipated new homes in Exeter

July 1, 2025 | In the news

A much-anticipated collection of new homes is being released to buy off-plan in Exeter, amid strong demand from prospective buyers.

Willow Grange on Spruce Close in Beacon Heath is ideally situated to offer the best of city and country living. With the potential for stunning views and a thoughtfully planned layout, our new development is already generating significant local interest.

Due to the volume of enquiries, we have brought the sales launch forward. The sales centre will open from July 12, giving buyers the opportunity to reserve selected new homes “off plan” ahead of a show home opening in early autumn.

Edenstone operations director Chris Edge said: “Location plays a crucial part in deciding where to live and our new homes in Exeter are perfectly placed. Homes here will truly offer the best of both worlds – under two miles from the city centre, in a leafy location, with a new 22-acre country park also being created. Some of the homes will have potential for stunning panoramic views of the Exe Estuary and Dartmoor. We’ve had a steady stream of enquiries since first announcing our plans for the site, and interest has only grown since construction began. We’ve kept potential buyers updated on our progress and feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. With that in mind, we’re releasing a limited number of homes for sale off plan.”

Willow Grange is part of a joint venture between Edenstone and LiveWest, the largest housing association in the South West. Together they’re creating 93 new homes across circa 10 acres of a 32-acre site.

Debra Saunders, sales and marketing director for LiveWest, said: “We are delighted to be working alongside Edenstone in a new working partnership to create quality homes in a sought-after location.

With sustainability at the heart of our plans, we’re confident these homes will enhance the local environment and provide much-needed housing for a wide range of people. The new homes will provide a fantastic opportunity for local people to access great properties, 32 of which will be affordable homes.

“LiveWest is dedicated to supporting communities and to do so we’re committed to providing around 5,000 affordable homes across the South West in the next five years.”

The 61 private sale homes will include a mix of two, three and four-bedroom semi-detached and detached homes. Prices for the properties will be announced at the launch.

Designed to complement the local character, the homes will feature a mix of brick, stone and render finishes.

The Edenstone sales team will be able to guide buyers through the site and floor plans to help them make an informed decision about which home best suits their needs.

“Feedback from our homeowners is clear – they don’t want to inherit someone else’s decor – they want a home they can personalise from day one,” Chris added.

“With our new homes, buyers can enjoy making key design choices and then relax while we do the work. Those who reserve early at Willow Grange could be moving into their brand-new home as soon as this autumn.”

A package of community investment worth more than £1.5million linked to the new neighbourhood was agreed during the planning process to support a wide of local facilities including healthcare, schools and youth facilities, walking and cycling routes, plus bus routes. The Exeter F1 service will be extended to run through the new development, offering a sustainable transport options for residents.

The sales centre at Willow Grange opens on July 12.
