Buyers looking for a new home in Bleadon could find they’re able to move for “free” thanks to Edenstone Homes.
The company behind the Eden’s Green development, off Bridge Road, is offering to help cover some of the costs associated with moving home.
This limited time offer is available on selected plots only, subject to terms and conditions, for those looking to purchase before May.
Edenstone operations director Chris Edge said: “We want to give people who’ve decided to make 2025 the year they buy a new home a helping hand by covering some of the costs associated with moving. Stamp duty rates will be changing from April with the potential to add thousands of pounds to the cost of homeownership. We have homes that will be ready to move into before the new rates come into force, plus for a limited time we’ll contribute towards the stamp duty and agent’s fees, essentially giving buyers the chance to move for free.
“Alternatively, those with a house to sell could use part exchange to climb the housing ladder quickly and simply.”
Eden’s Green offers a choice of a choice of three and four-bedroom homes, with current prices from £399,995 for a three-bedroom semi-detached Chepstow.
A four-bedroom detached Monmouth is ready to move into from £629,995 with upgraded flooring throughout, plus lighting and curtain package included in the price.
It will be available to view during an open house event over the weekend of February 1 and 2.
According to research from the Home Builders Federation, new houses are 65% more efficient than older ones, with the potential to save almost £2,000 a year.
Selected homes at Eden’s Green offer enhanced energy efficiency and are available with ‘zero energy bills’ for five years, thanks to a partnership with Octopus Energy.
These include two four-bedroom detached homes – a Monmouth style property, priced from £634,995, and a Kingsholm, available from £749,995.
