Last three “upside down” homes in Langland

February 29, 2024 | In the news

Maximising the potential for stunning coastal views, family living has been turned on its head in Langland, where the final few homes are now on sale

Located on Higher Lane, The Meadows boasts an elevated position overlooking Langland Bay and close to the Gower’s breath-taking beaches.

The first 12 homes have already been sold, leaving just three properties available. They’re all examples of the four-bedroom detached Farnham. The living arrangements have been flipped upside down to maximise on the sea views.

Sales director Adele McCoy explained: “Our new homes in Langland boast an unrivalled setting, on the cliff top with potential for stunning coastal views. We want our homeowners to really embrace the idyllic location and so redesigned the Farnham, which is the largest property on this intimate development. We’ve effectively turned the layout on its head, moving the bedrooms to ground level so that the living space is on the first floor to make the most of the views. There’s even a balcony that you can walk out onto from the living area. Imagine being able to step outside and enjoy the everchanging vista over your morning coffee.”

The first floor of the Farnham is almost entirely open plan, with combined kitchen, breakfast area, lounge and dining room. A practical utility, convenient cloakroom and handy storage cupboard complete the accommodation on this level.

The four bedrooms are on the ground floor of the property. The luxurious main bedroom suite includes a walk-in dressing area and an en-suite. It also benefits direct access to the terrace via French doors, as does the second bedroom. There are three further bedrooms, plus the family bathroom and additional storage, on this level.

The Farnham is available from £800,000 and is expected to be ready to move into this spring.
