Luxury apartments coming soon to North Somerset
New apartments will soon be available at a Bleadon development in response to demand from local buyers.
Edenstone was granted planning permission by North Somerset to create six apartments at its Eden’s Green development in Bleadon in what was originally set to be an office building.
Edenstone operations director Chris Edge explained: “Eden’s Green is a prime example of how we take a flexible approach to the communities we create, listening to local feedback and adapting where needed. Originally, we’d planned to create a commercial building but recognised there was a greater demand for apartments in Bleadon than office space.
“The building itself is complete and now that we have planning permission, we’ve started work to adapt it to provide what the community needs most – quality, energy efficient housing. The design lends itself naturally to residential living and allows us to provide homes suited to a wider range of buyers.”
There will be six apartments available – two per floor of the three-storey building – in a choice of one and two-bedroom options.
In each apartment there will be a combined kitchen, dining and living area, designed to maximise the potential of the space available.
Prices for the apartments will be announced at the launch. It’s anticipated that the apartments will be ready to move into this autumn.
The wider Eden’s Green development is shortlisted in the Insider South West Residential Property Awards. Current availability includes three and four-bedroom homes, with prices from £399,995.
Eden’s Green is located on Bridge Road, close to the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Severn Estuary and the River Axe. There will be plenty of green open spaces for residents to enjoy, including a wetland pond at the entrance to the development, and orchard.
The neighbourhood benefits from good connections to Weston-Super-Mare, which is less than four miles away. Junctions 21 and 22 of the M5 are around six miles away, while trains from Weston-Super-Mare offer journey times to Bristol of around 30 minutes.
