The layout of her new home offers apartment-style living without having neighbours above and below, plus the advantage of a garden. Like an apartment, Georgia’s bungalow features a carefully considered open plan layout that makes the best use of the space by combining the kitchen, dining and living areas. The stylish kitchen is well-equipped with integrated appliances, while the utility provides a dedicated space for the washing machine and dryer.
One of the bedrooms offers direct access out onto the rear garden via French doors, while the other benefits from a dressing area. There’s also a sleek and stylish bathroom, plus handy storage near the front door.
“It’s perfect for me as it’s close to the countryside and my horses. I wanted a bungalow because having everything on one level without any stairs is a lot easier for me with my disability,” Georgia, who has cerebral palsy, explained.
“I get quite tired quickly and lose a lot of energy, especially in the summer when it’s hot but every day is different.”
Georgia’s new home is part of St Mary’s Garden Village, a 290-home development being shaped by the Edenstone Group.
