EAGER buyers swung into action to be among the first to see inside a new bungalow show home overlooking Morriston Golf Course.

Dozens of people joined Edenstone Homes for the show home launch at Parc Ceirw Garden Village, a sustainable new community taking shape near Swansea.

The three-bedroom Budleigh show home is one of four styles of bungalow available in the first phase of the new community being shaped by Edenstone Homes and Bluebell Homes.

Behind its traditional façade, the show home hides a stunning secret with open views over the neighbouring golf course.

Sales director Adele McCoy said:

“The bungalow show home launch weekend was phenomenally busy. There were people waiting outside for 40 minutes before we opened on the Saturday morning and the sales team had back to back appointments with eager buyers.

“The feedback from visitors has been overwhelmingly positive. It was fantastic to watch and hear people’s reactions as they stepped inside the combined lounge and dining room. We’ve installed windows below the eaves and above the French doors, effectively creating a double height floor to ceiling glass wall offering lots of natural light into the property. The show home looks out over Morriston Golf Course and there were lots of “wows” as people weren’t expecting a home that looks so traditional from the front to have such a contemporary feature.”

The Budleigh features three bedrooms – two at the front, with the master bedroom and en-suite at the rear.

The en-suite and main bathroom feature sanitaryware by Roca and tiles from Porcelanosa.

Buyers have a choice of traditional or contemporary kitchens from Sigma 3 Kitchens, with the Budleigh show home featuring a Westbury Heritage Grey style kitchen.

Two-bedroom bungalows at Parc Ceirw Garden Village are currently available from £184,995, with a three-bedroom Budleigh, like the show home, available from £294,995.

Seven of the 28 bungalows in the first phase had been reserved before the show home opened and Edenstone is confident of building on the “open plan” success now that buyers can view a finished property.

The wider development of circa 300 homes and community facilities across 35 acres will take a round five years to complete.

It will include a new community park featuring a play area, kick about area, woodland and nature trail. There will also be natural habitat areas, a community hub building, electric car charging facilities and gym equipment.

The Edenstone bungalow show home at Parc Ceirw Garden Village, on Maes Y Gwernen Road, Morriston, is open daily from 10.30am to 5pm.
