BOASTING much more than simply a room with a view, a new show home is helping buyers appreciate life in the Cotswolds.
Edenstone Homes welcomed around 80 people through the doors of the showpiece property at its Sealey Wood development in the Gloucestershire village of Horsley during the opening weekend.
Those who have taken the early opportunity to view the show home have said that they love both the location and the superb specification, with some even asking where they could purchase the furniture!
Edenstone has already taken reservations on three of the 11 properties at Sealey Wood, with a further home now on hold pending a full reservation. Prospective purchasers are showing a strong interest in the remaining properties.
Martin Taylor, managing director for Edenstone Homes, said: “Edenstone has a reputation for building luxurious new homes in desirable locations and Sealey Wood is a prime example of that. The homes we’re building enjoy a beautiful location and those who have visited thus far have been in awe of the setting as several homes enjoy panoramic views to the south over the valley.
“Visitors have also been highly complementary about the design and the specification of the show home. They love that we’ve used Cotswold stone to give the homes a traditional look in keeping with the local area, while the layout and specification reflect how people really live today.”
Sealey Wood offers two/three-bedroom homes to substantial five-bedroom properties. Current prices are from £555,000 for a two/three-bedroom home.
There are eight property styles for buyers to choose from at Sealey Wood, showcased by the four-bedroom detached Barrington show home.
A substantial double fronted, it is practical and stylish in equal measure, with a drawing room on one side of the entrance hall and dining room to the other.
To the rear, the combined kitchen, family room and breakfast area is essentially open plan in essence, with the kitchen to the side of the multipurpose space. French doors open from the family area to the rear garden, offering easy access to the outside and lots of natural light into this sociable space.
Upstairs, two of the four bedrooms have an en-suite, leaving the family bathroom to serve the remaining bedrooms. The master bedroom also enjoys the benefit of a dressing room.
The specification at Sealey Wood includes Sigma 3 kitchens with fully integrated Neff appliances, plus contemporary sanitary ware from Roca and premium ceramic wall tiling from Porcelanosa in bathrooms and en-suites.
The sales centre and show home at Sealey Wood are open Wednesday to Sunday from 10:30am to 5pm. For more information, call 07384 259 091.
